Comments: I just want to say thankyou. Very very much. I've been self harming for 3 years and cutting for 2. Not that long but the amount of abuse I've got for it is unbelievable. I'm only 15 and I can't get help for it without my parents finding out but this site has helped me understand that I am definately not alone. Thankyou so much. xox

Comments:Hi, I just wanted to say it was very interesting reading your website. My sister is in the hospital right now because she is bi-polar (more on the depressive side than the manic side. She says she wishes she was a little more manic, wouldn't that be nice.) with anxiety and post-traumatic syndrome, and she cuts. So I was looking around to see what I could find out about it. hi,
it's kinda weird that we all got started doing this before it was a special on 7th heaven or pbs or any other place. thanks for putting up your webpage - it has helped me calm down after about 2 hours of crying on my bed ending in some blood...sigh, will be a lot to explain to people in the morning. i'm interested in knowing - do you still cut? i was doing really good for about a year, after 4th grade - sophomore year in college, but this year i've had what i guess you could call a relapse. so i'm hoping to be strong enough to stop again sometime, but i don't know - you're right in that we don't want to die, this is how we survive.
anyway, thanks for having this site up - you are precious.
